How to Create a Racing Game in Scratch | Scratch Coding Lesson 8 | Scratch Programming Tutorial
Coding for beginners. Free kids coding lessons to teach basic computer programming concepts and computational thinking. Scratch coding uses blocks to build the code. Blocks are good for beginners of any age, as they allow all the concepts to be learned much more quickly than traditional text based coding. Lessons will build on each other as new skills are learned.
Lesson 8 Builds on movement skills learned in lesson 7, we use Event, Movement, and Repeat blocks to create a multiplayer racing game. We also use the paint editor to create the racetrack and cars and add a sound.
