In this video, I show you how to change the battery on a citizen. Watch with a 0510 movement. The citizen watch in this video has the number G – four – S on the back of the watch, and it is a chronometer style watch. Many different citizen watches use this same movement, so if you see, a long model number starting with 0510 on the back of your watch, then it has the same movement and the same battery as the watch in this video. To change the battery in this Citizen watch, use a watch removal tool, to unscrew the back of the watch counterclockwise, and then pry the little battery holder away from the battery, and the battery will pop out. to put the new battery in, hold a little battery retainer clip out-of-the-way and push the battery into the battery holder. Then make sure that the waterproof gasket on the back of the watch is properly set in its grooves of the watch will be waterproof, and then screw the back of the watch on turning it in a clockwise direction.
