Windows of Understanding: Searching for Solutions -- A Conversation with Artist Amee Pollack
Amee Pollack, Senior Academic Advisor (Art & Design, film) and Student Success Counselor at @RutgersU's @masongrossschool shares her vision and inspiration for her mural "Searching for Solutions" as part of this season of Windows of Understanding.
"Searching for Solutions" references the search for solutions to one of society's most important issues today: climate change. The mural shows children 'searching' for a solution while holding magnifying glasses. In this interview, Amee explains why she decided on children, why they're in a forest, why there are underground rocks, and why there are mushrooms that the children are looking at in her mural.
