We love Manhattan Kansas! We grew up there and seen it go from a small town to a big town with big city ambitions. I always dreamed of festivals to frequent the town. For years, all we had was Country Stampede. Unfortunately, the sun has set for that music festival. We yearn for a new beginning. Something unique. Something new. Something exciting. Then it hit me! People are brought together by two things. Music and Food. That is when The Little Apple Food Truck Festival was born! A day festival set in Manhattan Kansas that would bring the community together. Packed with activities for all ages. We envision several food truck serving their specialty dishes. Kids would be able to enjoy face painting, kid games, bounce houses and competitions. Adults could enjoy, henna, raffle prizes, adult games like Jenga, and Cornhole. The whole family could enjoy live music, dj's, magic shows and so much more! We want to bring something new to the community. We want to bring a family friendly vibe back to MHK. We want to give back to a city that has inspired us!
Our goal is 10K. But since we are not a large corporation, we know that the odds are stacked against us. But everyone loves an underdog. The funds raised would help pay for permits, staffing, equipment, and promotions. This will ensure we can give all attendees an unbelievable experience.
