Eduardo Nascimento was the winner of the portuguese song contest, and was the selected entry to the 1967 Eurovision Song Festival.He was the first black singer in Eurovision, but at the same time Portugal, a then fascist state, was fighting guerrilla colonial wrs in it's african colonies.
