Top 10 Most Dangerous Dinosaur Carnivores

Not ranked, but im pretty sure all of the 10 deadliest are in this video!!! :D

Acrocanthosaurus - It lived in North America in the early Cretaceous, it was the biggest of the theropods at its time there fore probably being the apex predator until larger predators evolved.

Albertosaurus - More individuals of this species have been discovered than most other species of its type, scientists have come to the conclusion that it was a pack animal as it was not large enough on its own to take down larger prey.

Allosaurus - It lived in the late Jurassic period and it was the apex predator of its time. Scientists still dont know whether it was a pack hunter or not as most of their prey would have been too large for them to tackle on their own.

Carcharodontosaurus - It lived in the mid Cretaceous period and was the second largest predatory dinosaur known, bigger than the T-Rex and Giganotosaurus but not as big as the Spinosaurus.

Carnotaurus - It lived in the Late Cretaceous period in Argentina, its name means meat-eating bull because it had two horns above its eyes, most likely used for mating purposes.

Ceratosaurus - Means horned lizard because of the horn on its nose and it lived in the late Jurassic period.

Giganotosaurus - Lived in South America in the Late Cretaceous period, it was a larger predator than the T-Rex but smaller than the Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus.

Spinosaurus - Is the largest of the predatory Dinosaurs known yet it is one of the most confusing. The shape of its head it long and narrow like the Crocodiles indicating that it survived on fish, so why would it need to be so big? The sail on its back was used for display purposes and for it to gain and loose heat quickly which would support the fact that it lived in water?

Tyrannosaurus-Rex - Is probably the most famous of all the dinosaurs thanks to Jurassic Park but it is one of the most controversial. Scientists are still debating whether it was a predator or a scavenger, because it has the teeth and build of a scavenger. Its teeth are not the correct shape for a predator as they are too thick and straight like a scavengers. And it was too heavy and lacked the balance to case and keep up with prey.
Scientists also have not come to the conclusion whether it was a pack animal or not as many bones have been found together in grave sites.
Write what you think about the T-Rex in a comment.

Velociraptor - Is a Dinosaur that is completely misunderstood. Jurassic parks pictures this animal as being a 7ft scaly Dinosaur, whereas actually it was about the size of a Turkey and was covered in down feather, the same kind as on ducklings and chicks.
