A key part of any adventurer's quiver needs to be a solid handle on different types of knot for different scenarios, a knowledge of how and when to use them and of course exactly how to tie them. So, to help you out, we checked in with professional tree climber Waldo Etherington, to share his top five favourite knots, why they’re useful and how to tie them.
