School Ties: French test (Matt Damon, Brendan Fraser, 1992)
Oral exam from hell at a New England prep school where it becomes clear that some pupils gifted by circumstances of birth are not so academically. The hapless McGivern struggles with a verbatim translation of Keats' 'On Seeing the Elgin Marbles' for a large part of his final grade, which vexes teacher Cleary (Zeljko Ivanek). He later suffers a nervous breakdown. Film also launched Ben Affleck & Chris O'Donnell.
