What happens when Age of Empires II and Star Wars have a baby? They create an amazing RTS game known as Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. It was made from the same game engine so fans of Age of Empires II should feel right at home. However the game itself is different enough that it is also a welcomed breath of fresh air. With crazy twists such as flying units, shields, invisible units, power cores, and faster gameplay Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds has remained as one of my favorite games since I was kid.

In this match I played as the Wookies civilization on the map Kashyyyk in a 2v3 between me and some Hard difficulty computer players. Throughout the video I explain many of the important concepts in Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. The Wookies boast very power Troop Center units, Air units, and have very strong raiding with their unique Berserker unit.
