She Animates Africa is establishing a network of female animators throughout Africa. By offering proper knowledge and access to possibilities in the business, we hope to see 50% of women completely represented in the animation sector.
Creating a culture of community involvement and volunteerism that capitalises on the power of global connections, collaboration, and learning. To create a robust ecosystem of women who can offer support, mutual learning, and possibilities for advancement.
Our mission is to give female animators in Africa continuing assistance and resources to help them flourish in the business.
Training, internships, mentorship, networking opportunities, and regular events to highlight the work of exceptional female animators will be part of the project.
She Animates Africa strives to increase women's representation and participation in the animation industry.
