👋 Hello everyone! Today, we're back with another case study 📊, and this time it's about a 📱 mobile app installation campaign.
As we know, a mobile app is essential to take any business to the next level 🚀. However, setting up the mobile ad or developing the mobile app is only half the battle ⚔️.
We need to ensure that we show the mobile app campaigns to the exact audience to get high-quality installs 🎯.
Additionally, the installs should stick, and the ads should be relevant to the target audience; otherwise, people may uninstall the app after a few days ❌.
We recently acquired a client three months ago, and at that time, the campaign was not performing well ❌. The spending was also on the lower side 💰.
However, in March 2023, we were able to get 27,000 installs from the campaign with a cost per install of only 3.59 rupees 💸.
Our monthly budget was only one lakh rupees, so we had a limited budget to work with, but we were able to make the most of it and get quality installs for our client 💪.
We started by setting up the Android app installation campaign 🤖, targeting the app related to an AI-enabled chatbot in mainstream countries like 🇦🇺 Australia, 🇺🇸 the United States, 🇬🇧 the UK, and 🇨🇦 Canada.
In the first two weeks of our Android app campaign, we saw around 27,000 installs in one month with a cost per install of only Rs. 3.59 💻. We then set up the iOS app installation campaign 🍎, and the main challenge was tracking the installs.
We used Firebase to link the iOS app with AdWords and were able to track the installs properly 📈. We found that the quality of the iOS app installations was even better.
Initially, the client was hesitant to give us money 💰, but now they are looking to double the budget for the next month. We were able to deliver results that exceeded their expectations and achieve a lower cost per install than their goal 🎉.
