Dental surgeon talks about the advantages of zirconia dental implant and bridges as zirconia is a highly biocompatible material and does not include any metallic parts so there is no corrosion due to the metallic structure.
Another advantage of zirconia is that it is three times rigid to the metallic crown and is made up by computer-aided design and manufacturing. All the structure is made by a milling machine guided by a computer and abutment teeth are captured by the scanner and transferred to the computer digital data, which makes the shape of the bridge. Therefore, the process takes place in a highly controlled system making an adaptation of the bridge is very precise.
