Caves are without a doubt the strongest place anyone can build a base in Rust and that’s why I’ve decided that it is the ideal location to construct an automated rocket factory. But what exactly does that mean? Well, except for the farming of resources to feed the system, it is possible to power and industrialise every step of the process of making rockets. From cooking sulfur, to crafting gunpowder, all the way to combining all the ingredients necessary to make rockets. It’s something that would no doubt draw the attention of anyone who realised what we were up to, and that’s why I’m doing it underground. There’s one, major problem with that though. It’s only possible to wire electricity to power the factory in 2 very specific cave types that sit close enough to the surface for the wire to reach. I was playing on wipe because I had to get the right cave, or my dream of an automated rocket factory would fall apart before I was even able to begin.
