When a young nerd asks out the school's most badass girl, this don't go exactly as planned.
This is an acting scene from a project for young actors in Los Angeles to use for their showreels. No real nerds were hurt. No really feelings were injured.
In acting, in the beginning of the project, the characters are extremely flawed. Both these characters are extremely selfish and want what they want. You have to imagine the relationship that evolves from the two of them meeting. Imagine them maturing in their thoughts and ideas. Then that propels the storyline to finally the young girl realizes she doesn't need any guy to make her feel secure, she needs to feel secure in herself. And the young nerd learns that staying at an emotional level of a toddler only delays maturity. In the end, they don't end up together, however, you can learn from all sorts of people.
