I’ve just unboxed the MacBook Air M3 and will be discussing the differences compared to the MacBook Air M1 that I was previously using.

By the time this video is shared, I have just completed my first week with the MacBook Air M3. Therefore, in this video, I primarily focus on the main reasons why I made the switch and the visual differences between the two devices.

I have been using the MacBook Air M1 with a 256GB storage and 16GB RAM configuration for over three years. With this device, I've used various software and applications related to content production, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Blender, Android Studio, and Docker, which are both storage-heavy and RAM-intensive. I didn’t face any significant performance issues with any of them. There were occasional slowdowns with increasing layers in my Premiere Pro projects. In my software projects, there were times when the RAM was insufficient, but swap memory helped me to continue working without interruptions. In my opinion, the M1 Air can handle most backend and frontend tasks unless you are working on very large and resource-intensive projects. For videos I produced using the M1 device, you can check out the other videos on my YouTube channel.
