Since the first Borderlands game, Circles of Slaughter have existed, being wave-based mobbing arenas. Through the years, they've come in various other forms from Mad Moxxi's Underdome, Borderlands 2's range of circles, The Pre-Sequel's Holodome and Mutator Arena, and more. Despite existing in every entry to the franchise, they've never had too good of a reputation. That is until Borderlands 3's take on them, bringing them up in the community's standing and being a fantastic addition as endgame content. But what exactly set them apart?
