I share how I got into RSI (Research Science Institute). Hopefully, you will find my RSI tips helpful for getting into the Research Science Institute program. In this video, I go over my essays, stats, awards, and research experiences. Good luck, and feel free to ask about the RSI experience in the comments below! I won't spoil any RSI secrets... but I'm happy to help with general RSI application questions or point you to the right person/staff who can answer!
In the video, I only talk about my RSI application + experience. If you want me to talk about some general tips or have questions, leave a comment below!

Some general tips that I don’t discuss in the video:
1) Start your application as early as possible. The earlier you start, the more time you'll have to perfect your essays, get strong recommendations and add new experiences. I started my RSI application in December, and I submitted it in early February.
2) Get strong recommendations. When choosing who to ask, make sure to ask people who know you well and can speak to your research abilities. For my app, I asked my research mentor and science physics teacher.
3) Don't be afraid to toot your own horn. This is your chance to really sell yourself, so make sure to highlight all of your accomplishments, both in and out of the classroom.
4) Proofread, proofread, proofread! Before you submit your application, read it once again!
Research Science Institute is hosted by MIT and CEE. Please go to them for official info and please note that information in my video may be dated as it is from the 2022 cycle.
