2025 Porsche 911 GTS gets new T-Hybrid: Sneak peek at the 992.2
The 2025 Porsche 911, or the 992.2 generation if you prefer, will possess one of the biggest changes in the nameplate’s long history: it’s going hybrid. Not every version, mind you, but the new 911 GTS is at least the first to get the new T-Hybrid powertrain. That the enthusiast-oriented GTS was chosen to showcase the T-Hybrid first is telling, as it shows it’s intended to enhance performance of the new 3.6-liter boxer-six by way of an electric motor integrated into the PDK transmission as well as a novel electric turbocharger.
