Ralph Roelse - Minimal Freight Graffiti | Our Side of the Story
Two years ago, Ralph Roelse decided to take a break from his commercial photography work and followed his passion for painting. In this period he evolved as an artist and created a series of large-scale minimalistic and unauthorized paintings on freight trains.
Last summer I had the pleasure to follow Ralph on one of his trips to the train yard. Our collaboration resulted in a beautiful short film titled Ectogenesis. In this film, we tried to capture the magic of a painting coming alive and invites you to join Ralph Roelse on one of his nightly adventures.
