Will Rusch & J.D. McPillar Disney Cars Mattel 2021 Review
Will Rusch & J.D. McPillar reviewed by COOLection TV. Today we're looking at JD McPillar and Will Rusch from the brand new 2021 Disney Cars diecast collection. The J.D. McPillar diecast, aka Next Gen Tow Cap 4, has been released a couple times before, but before he was made in China. This new variant is made in Thailand. Before the J.D. McPillar Cars 3 diecast either had plastic windows with unpainted window bars or plastic windows without window bars, but now he has fully metal windows with painted window bars. The Will Rusch Cars 3 diecast, aka Next Gen Vinyl Toupee 76, is brand new for Cars Mattel 2021 and has never been released before. He has been long awaited for 3 and a half years so it's great to finally have him. Cars Will Rusch also has metal windows and features a metallic finish.
In Cars 3 J.D. McPillar first appears at the Mood Springs Sputter Stop 350 race at the Georgia Super Speedway and returns at the Los Angeles 500. In LA, he appears in the pits before the race starts, as well as when the racers are lining up to start. He continues to appear racing alongside Lightning McQueen, Jackson Storm, and the next gens until McQueen's crash. At the end of the movie, JD McPillar returns at the Florida 500, this time without rookie stripes and races against Lightning McQueen and later, Cruz Ramirez. In Cars 3 Will Rusch first appears at the Florida 500 and is one of the first cars McQueen passes when he's making his comeback. He appears later during the crash and eventually returns with Cruz in the field. He appears one last time in the pits after the race when McQueen is reconsidering his potential retirement.
