Flight to Minsk, Belarus on a Belavia aircraft. Departure from Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg, arrival at Minsk National Airport, return flight to Moscow, arrival at Sheremetyevo Airport. I flew to Minsk from St. Petersburg on a flight at 10:30 in the morning. At the registration I met the Zenit handball team, which flew to the game in Belarus. After checking in for the plane, I went to a separate area, which was intended for passengers flying to Belarus or to the EEAS countries. There were only two booths. Customs asked how much cash we carry across the border.
I flew from the Pulkovo International Terminal for the first time. I liked that it is very spacious and most importantly quiet. The autoinformer is almost inaudible. I saw an Airbus A321 of Yamal Airlines, which flew to the city of Ugrench Uzbekistan. A classic Boeing 737-500 of UTair airlines, which arrived from the city of Surgut and had its next flight to the city of Baku. On the platform, an Aeroflot 737 aircraft from St. Petersburg to Istanbul was preparing to take off, and an A320 of Rossiya Airlines, which flew to Sochi, stood nearby.
Belavia put an unusual aircraft on my flight in a special livery dedicated to the online game. The plane is not young, it is almost thirty years old. Boarding started on time. While waiting for taxiing, I saw an unidentified helicopter and an A319 Zenitolet, which is dedicated to the Zenit football club. He hasn't flown in a very long time.
For takeoff, the plane did not use the entire length of the runway. They took off from the Alpha taxiway. During the flight, Belavia offered marshmallows in chocolate. The flight to Minsk is very short, lasting only one hour. At Minsk Airport, on the second floor, I bought a Life SIM card. Their office is on the second floor in the reception area. From the airport to the center of Minsk can be reached by minibus or bus, showed the bus schedule. I decided to take a taxi through Yandex, I had a card linked, so the cost of the trip was debited from my card.
I got out on Independence Avenue in the center of Minsk and walked to the Gallery shopping center. Minsk is very beautiful. I went to the Vasilki restaurant for potato pancakes. I bought grandmother's mushroom soup, potato pancakes with fish and Braslav carp. It was delicious. I went to the Komarovsky market in the center of Minsk. Everywhere in Belarus they accept the MIR card for payment, the conversion takes place at a good rate.
I flew back from Minsk on a Belavia plane, but this time on Embraer 195, on a flight to Sheremetyevo Airport. There was bad weather in Moscow, the plane was installed in Terminal C near the Boeing 777 of Aeroflot, which arrived from Bangkok. The disembarkation was through the usual gangway to the bus. Passport control is at Terminal B.
I liked the flight on Belavia, the work of the crew and the level of service on board. It was unexpected to meet on such a short flight service with hot drinks and, although small, but food (chocolate marshmallows).
I bought tickets on the airline's website for rubles using a Russian card. Ticket prices start at an average of 3,000 rubles for a one-way ticket.
