AMD 4700S Desktop Kit Review - many limitations but could be good value for money
Just to make it simple, at RM 1300 (about USD 300+) it has a motherboard, CPU, memory and CPU cooler.
Ignoring the CPU cooler part, typically a mini-ITX motherboard, 8-core 16-thread processor and 16GB of memory comes to more than the above value. What you get is one package that you need not worry about sourcing parts and worry about compatibility and settings.
Despite the advantages above, the unit has only 2 SATA ports, no way to change the loud fan and the heatsink is poor, the memory capacity is fixed and it's a high bandwidth high latency type (GDDR6), the 8-core 16-thread Zen 2 processor performs like a 6-core 12-thread variant and the PCIE slot is 2.0 that hinders graphics card performance.
