The Danger of Idolatry
In this short devotional, I stand before a temple in Hong Kong where you see smoke in the background. I remind us of the danger of idolatry. No matter how sincere someone may be, to worship anyone or anything other than God, is sin. This can take many forms, from idolizing a relationship, child, job, money, sex, or any number of things. For Christians, we must be careful too! While we are all guilty of seeking idols in one way or another, the great news is that God's grace can not only rescue us, but give us the practical victory we need!
