3 Takeaways from my Procreate for Interior Designers Workshop
You’ve probably missed this so I want to quickly share the 3 key learnings from my Procreate for interior designers workshop.
It was a full day, in person workshop in Prague hosted by @ambiencedesigncz and most students were complete beginners in Procreate on iPad.
We learned to draw this kitchen design in isometry from scratch and here are the 3 key learnings:
Number 01 - Draw beautiful lines even if you have shaky hands.
Have full control over your strokes using quick shapes, editing your shapes, and using drawing assistance.
Number 02 - Work in scale by taking advantage of the 2D or isometric grid to create precise designs.
And finally, Number 03 - Use non-destructive techniques as much as possible.
That means smart management of your layers, keeping things separate, and
using clipping or layers masks, so you can always go back if you change your mind later.
