Using the music and humor of the 1959 Coasters' hit, "Charlie Brown," this novelty is about "Charlie Browning," a running back for the Washington Huskies football team. Was No. 1 in Seattle (KJR) for at least two weeks in Dec. 1963. Never charted nationally, for obvious reasons. Browning was drafted in '65 but never actually played in the NFL.
