No amount of apples can keep wildlife dentists away!
At LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary (@lionsrockbigcatsanctuary), caring for big cat teeth can be a tall order. Considering where many of the rescued animals have come from, it's no surprise that their dental care can be a bit complicated.
Thankfully, the dedicated care team at the sanctuary not only provides a healthy, species appropriate environment, but also works with experts like this dentist who recently came to visit to ensure that all of the residents receive top notch care.
Special thanks to dentist Professor Gerhard Steenkamp for his hard work and dedication in keeping all of the big cat residents' pearly whites... pearly white!
