First-time contestant, Julie Hannah, talks with AQS Executive Show Director Michelle Renee Hiatt about her quilt TEA PARTY.
Beginning with the Tea Party pattern by Wendy Williams of Flying Fish, Julie started piecing. As the quilt came together, inspiration grew and the creative process took over.
"This quilt unleashed my creativity! So many special embellishments are memories of and with family and friends. It has brought such comfort to me during a year of health issues for my husband. I was a little sad to finish it!"
