Today: Tropical moisture is evident as we keep our eye on a disorganized low in the Atlantic slowly moving towards Georgia's coast.
This won't affect most of us in the Tampa Bay area, as generally, we will be on the drier side. But, any rain we do see should be short-lived in duration and driven by daytime heating. Afternoon highs will range from the low to mid-90s but with the added humidity it will feel like the lower triple digits for heat index values.
This Weekend: Showers and storms will be tied to our seasonable routine, sparking up in the afternoon and evening hours with better coverage closer to the I-75 corridor of the west coast later in the day thanks to east-southeast winds and a Bermuda high setting up shop by Sunday. High temperatures in the low to mid-90s on both days with noticeable humidity.
