Sometimes I need a reminder to go outside and engage all my senses or at least as many as I can.
Just a brief time outside for the wind to blow my hair against my face and bring the sweet smell of the citrus blossoms over to me. I can hear the birds singing and see the lizards sunning themselves on the fallen tree.
The dog is barking, probably at the rabbits who are feasting on the few nasturtiums blooming bright orange under the oak tree.
All it takes is a few minutes and I am refreshed and ready to go back to work.
