Detroit Concours d'Elegance
In the switch from Concours of America to the Detroit Concours d'Elegance comes a change of venue. It was hosted at the Detroit Institute of Art in the city's downtown area. Like Cars and Community, the concours had a wide array of automobiles, more than 100 of them. They included historic concept cars such as the Ford Mustang I, Chrysler Turbine car and Buick Y-Job, hot rods and customs, vintage sports cars, pre-war machinery and more. The overall winner of the event was a 1937 Delahaye 135 roadster
