Sketchup is a free and easy-to-use 3D modeling platform that is awesome for engineering, interior designers, architects and any hobbyist interested in DIY!
While SketchUp comes with an included materials library of a good selection of basic colors and materials, knowing how to add your own is very useful! I this video we cover three different easy ways to import and add custom materials and colors using the SketchUp 3D warehouse, pulling materials from existing models, and grabbing files from paint and material manufacturer websites!
