What is a vCISO? Virtual Chief Information Security Officer
Typically a CISO works internally to an organization, supporting only that one enterprise. A vCISO, is an outsourced vendor who handles all of the same tasks as a traditional CISO does. However, we have multiple organizations that we report to. Hiring a vCISO, you're likely to get a team of CISOs supporting your organization vs just one person.
