How Braze Helps Brands Use Data to Create Personalized Customer Messaging

In order for brands to engage with and grow their customer bases, it is critical that they master the art of personalized communication and personalized customer messaging. Regardless of whether a customer is engaging with a brand through a mobile app, a web browser, email or text, their expectation is that the brand knows who they are and can provide a personalized engagement experience. In this episode of “Powered by Snowflake,” Daniel Myers chats with Braze Co-founder and CTO Jonathan Hyman, who explains how his company’s platform gives brands the sophisticated querying and report tools they need to extract critical insights into customer behavior from their first-party data, and then use those insights to drive highly personalized messaging campaigns for marketing, sales, and support purposes. And the Braze Engagement Benchmark tool even allows brands to measure the performance of its messaging campaigns against the performance of other companies in its industry.

“We are helping brands engage with over 3.5 billion monthly active users, and we are delivering over 1.5 trillion personalized messages every year,” says Hyman. It’s a massive data-processing undertaking that wouldn’t be possible, Hyman says, without Snowflake’s “next-generation analytics engine” and its Data Sharing capabilities.
