QSO with VA3AAA using Rockwell Collins 718U-5M avionics HF transceiver
Worked quite well. Excellent radio, also for ham use. This particular 718U setup is equipped with the pressurized version for the PA/coupler unit (the black box on the left) which was used primarily by the military (as the ARC-174). It is the 548S-5A (my other 718U-5 videos show the 548S-3, the unpressurized version)
