How to Migrate & TEST your website BEFORE it goes live with HOSTS file | Mac & Joomla Example
If you are migrating a website from another hosting company, you'll need to TEST it before adjusting the DNS to point to your server. In this example, I test a recently migrated website by adjusting the Hosts file on my computer. I'm using a Mac, and in this example, I have migrated a Joomla website. (Please note this video does NOT show you how to migrate, but only the testing phase by adjusting the hosts file to point to my server IP on where the new server will be).
