This is the number one piece of advice I give to new builders: learn how to break your build reference down into shapes! Preferably rectangles and triangles, but sometimes there are octagons and circles, too. By breaking your build reference down into shapes, you can more easily customize the build, make it bigger or smaller, tweak the style, and overall have a better looking build.
