Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen - Guitar Solo + TAB - Playthrough/Cover
I always loved this short but sweet rock solo. In re-visiting this one, I wanted to dissect the solo a little bit more and try to get more of the nuances in it. It's actually a lot more complex than I previously thought once I isolated and slowed it down. The fast descending run has a timing that is really tricky to get down perfectly. The way I played it is not exactly how Brian May played it on the track though. For anyone attempting to learn this solo (or any solo for that matter), I recommend to not stress out too much over the exact timing/rhythm of the notes as they were originally played. As long as the notes are all in time with the song/tempo and are starting and ending on a similar part of the beat, it doesn't matter too much what notes are played in the middle of a phrase (I think this applies more to fast runs, of course). This concept has really helped me in my own playing.
