Minecraft turns 15 this year, and classic Minecraft, or at least Minecraft from before 2015, is one of the most nostalgic experiences out there. But old Minecraft also had an ethereal, sometimes eerie, or mystical aura to it. What was it that made Minecraft feel both creepy, yet cozy?
