How to use the FIND function in Excel
Did you know Excel has a function called FIND that will search a supplied string for your desired search term? It is in fact one of the most useful string functions that will return the position of your search term within the supplied string.
In this tutorial we demonstrate how to use the FIND function by stepping through a number of scenarios that you can easily follow along with.
SUMMARY
The Excel FIND function returns the position (as a number) of one text string inside another. However when the text is not found, FIND returns a #VALUE error.
