The best news right now is that the long, dark night of GPU shortages and horrible prices is coming to an end. Cryptocurrency mining profitability took a nosedive, and graphics card prices dropped another 6% on average last month. All of the major GPUs are now in stock at online stores, and most can be found at or below the official MSRPs.
We now have the Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT, RX 6650 XT and RX 6400 in our charts, along with Nvidia's RTX 3090 Ti and GTX 1630 — but no Arc A380 yet. Unfortunately, MSRPs on four of those (not the 6400) are higher than pre-existing cards, making them a somewhat questionable value, though retail prices are correcting pretty quickly now. We're also still waiting for Intel Arc Alchemist to arrive on desktops (in places besides China), which likely won't happen until September, while the latest Nvidia Ada rumors suggest a late Q3 launch — September or even October seems likely.
