1800 hundred Instacart In Store Shoppers, essential workers, are loosing their jobs in May of 2021. According to several news articles, "Instacart is firing every employee who voted to unionize". Instacart Shoppers are claiming their are "Few companies as evil as Instacart."
All 10 Instacart In store shoppers who work at Mariano's in Skokie, IL have been fired. "These employees were in the process of negotiating their first contract when news of the layoffs hit." Instacart is moving to a Partner Pick program where grocery store employees will shop for the groceries using Instacart's platform.
