Uipath Studio - Debugging Options
Debug - de bug
- identify and removes the errors in any programming
importance of debugging
- Developers cannot find the exact place of error
- time take to fix the bugs
- may leads to new bugs aswell
Uipath Studio - Debugging Options
1. Default debugging option is - Debug file - F6
- Debug file - debugs current file - F6
- debug - debugs entire project - F5
- Run - execute entire project - ctrl + F5
- Run file - executes current file - ctrl +F6
2. While debugging - Continue, stop, restart, focus
3. Step into -the debugger opens and highlights the activity before it is executed.
Step Over - unlike step into, it will execute the activities inside the containers without opening the containers
Step Out - used to come out of the containers
- nested conditions/activities/loops
4. Retry - whenever an error occured, this is enabled
- used to reexecute the activity in debug mode
ignore - ignores the current error and executes the next activity
Restart - Restarts the debugging process from the first activity
Focus - is used to return to the activities based on the approach used
