Don't Worry about Remote ID
had so many questions about RemoteID before our meetup that I felt the need to address the elephant in the room.
FPV Pilots gonna keep on keeping on, flying safely and not hurting aircraft.
We're getting FRIA's for spots and waivers for events.
Pilot safety is key. It has always been our responsibility as pilots.
What are your thoughts on Remote ID? Are you buying into government compliance?
Should individuals be forced to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to add Remote ID to their fleets (my cost would be close to $2,000 to add modules to every drone) and potentially making me a target of theft/harassment.
Have you written your congress critters? Did you get any response?
