We'll see here photo editing tools that I find very helpful in my day-to-day work as a blogger and a Pinterest marketer.
In the past my images on the blog were mostly 600 by 900 pixels because that used to be the size recommended by Pinterest.
And I am getting over 80 thousands visitors to my website from Pinterest every month, so it's a pretty important traffic source for me.
But the problem is Pinterest has changed their requirements and nowadays all images should be at least 1000 by 1500 pixels.
A lot of photos in my old blog posts have only been saved in this smaller size and I don't have a bigger copy. But luckily this tool that can help me with this problem.
I use AI Image Upscaler and Enhancer!
I will take this photo for example and it will get an instant upscale to a bigger resolution. Moreover, AI enhancer will also make the original photo look sharper which is essentially making my old photo even better!
You can download it without the Text if you are using the tool for the first time and have enough free credits.
Then this Image Compressor is what I use to reduce the size of images without losing quality. I need it for my website because images that come out of the photo camera are too big, sometimes up to 1 MB and this slows down the pages and makes it harder for my site to compete in Google Search results.
For instance, this image of 2.7 Mb is really too heavy to upload it on my blog. So I'll add it here and compress it. By the way, if you have multiple images to compress, it can take a bit of time, so you have an option to get a notification by email. Anyway, I will compress it in a few seconds and then I can just download the image.
