The MSI GE75 Raider is a Windows 11 powered gaming laptop that is a literal hot rod. It packs all the most potent hardware available, like an Intel Core i9 11th Gen unlocked processor and the fastest shipping GPU, the RTX 3080, with a whopping 16GBs of GDDR6 VRAM. It also has a crazy 360Hz refresh screen with a 1920x1080 resolution display. But there is a price to pay!

Unlike other laptops we've reviewed recently, this laptop is unapologetic about its lack of energy efficiency. It's also massive, weighing well over 5.5 lbs with a 17.3-inch screen. It won't even fit in one of my everyday backpacks. The power supply weighs over 2 lbs and puts out 280 Watts. Even the 99 Wh battery can't keep up with it.

So, why would anyone want this? It's all about the gaming performance. It's the fastest gaming laptop that is shipping today. And, at $4500 CAD, it's definitely a commitment.
