From the 1️⃣ ‘Marshmallow Challenge’ to vibrant moments of 2️⃣ breaking (hip hop/break dance) during an educational visit at an intercultural youth center in Rome 🏛️ , leading the way in social inclusion.
ℹ️ The Marshmallow Challenge is a popular team-building activity where participants are tasked with building the tallest free-standing structure possible using only spaghetti, tape, string, and a marshmallow, which must be placed on top.
The challenge encourages collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills among participants as they work together to construct a stable and tall structure within a limited timeframe. ⏱️
This activity is part of our course “Popular Approaches for Inclusion”, during which our participants learn how to:
✅ Develop a personalized understanding of “participation” and “inclusion” adapted to their work context.
✅ Foster individual and collective responsibility through various strategies and techniques.
✅ Utilize cooperative techniques, including digital technologies, in contemporary educational settings.
✅ Engage in cooperative group activities and active reflection alongside other educators and teachers.
