How to Custom Text Background and Hover Effect in Squarespace || Basic Squarespace Tutorial 2023
In this first tutorial, you’ll learn how to change a text block background color. We’ll use CSS change to color, create a gradient color, and you’ll learn how to upload your own image to use for the background of a text block.
Text blocks can have a solid color background, and thanks to CSS we can customize it!
and the second tutorial, you’ll learn how to create your own hover effects for Squarespace.
I’ll show you how to create a basic hover code that changes a button color on a hover, adds a filter to an image on a hover,
and how to use item hierarchy to create a hover effect for list items.
I am using version 7.1 in this tutorial, but the code concept works for older versions too.
