Today we're going to be looking at the Apple Mac Mini. This is currently the latest version of the Mac Mini and is the cheapest mac on the market. So if you're someone who needs Mac-based software, like say Final Cut Pro, or if you just appreciate the stability and reliability of the Mac OS, this is currently the least expensive way to do it.

There are currently three versions of the Mac mini available, the base model with core a i5 processor, a more powerful version with the core i7 processor and a server version. These however, are not fitted with the latest Haswell generation processors. All versions of the Mac Mini come with 4GB of RAM standard but you can add upto 16Gb of RAM. RAM can be added to the Mac Mini at the time of purchase or later if you need it. In terms of storage, there are three major options: The standard mechanical hard drive, what Apple calls fusion drive and the fastest option- solid state memory. Now all these can either be selected at the time of purchase or can be added later. And there are lots of videos on youtube that cover these modifications to the Mac Mini. Now, there is no dedicated graphics card or even an option to add one later. However, the built-in Intel HD Graphics 4000 on the Mac Mini i7 is significantly better than any built-in graphics card from the past.
