Taxes and Duties to be Reduced Upto 800 CC Cars in Budget 2021-22.
In upcoming budget 2021-22, its highly expected that Cars upto 800 CC capacity engine will become more affordable as Govt is mulling to reduce taxes and duties on imported and locally assembled cars.
On imported cars taxes and duties combined accumulate to 132% of the actual price of the cars. Its plan to reduce taxes and duties by 63% for imported cars upto 800 CC.
For locally assembled cars its expected that 7% taxes will be reduced and hence local cars will also be more affordable in this upcoming and highly anticipated budget for fiscal year 2021-22
