However, it wasn't always this way, and even for all it's finery, it was always a place of warring cities and fierce rivalries. Athens, the city of the god Athena, famed for the very democracy Hellas as a whole is famed for as well as being the maritime power of it all. Can I replicate the historical power of this great city state? Or will I fall to the Spartans and other threats to our freedom?
